Of all the things I’ve lost in life, it is my sense of self control around fiber and yarn I miss the most.

My name is Spring. My parents were, in fact, hippies. I am a cranky 29 year old mother of one. If you think you know me, well, you probably do. I live in Western Washington in a house that is a stones-throw from the water and next to a large apple tree.

I am a college student, knitter, night owl, and piss poor writer. I still haven’t decided what I am going to be when I grow up, but I now know that growing up doesn’t include being a graphic designer or architect. While politics interest me actually being a politician does not.

I believe that good shoes can make any day better.

I can knit. I can spin. I can not crochet to save my ass. I am working on this.

I learned to play the alto sax against the recommendation of my band teacher when I was 11. I took Japanese classes because Spanish was “too easy for me.” I have been sorted as an INTJ. These things should tell you all you need to know about my personality.

I feel I should mention I’m the middle child. I have a single tattoo on my back and wear my watch on my right hand even though I am right handed. If I can survive my child being three four then I can do damn near anything.

I take the photos on this site using a Canon EOS 350D. It is better known as the Digital Rebel XT. I love it, it loves me (except for that time it spent two months in the shop, we shall not speak of that). All images and text are copyright Spring R Munsel, and permission must be had before using any of it. If you see something you like, please email me. Unless it is a photo of my child I will likely say yes.

There are four random header images. They are of Sprinkles Cupcakes, the Torrance Beach, my Keen Seattle shoes, and peacock feathers.
