Boom.

My poor head feels like it is going to explode. School, the child, and other obligations are pulling me in multiple directions, leaving me feeling disjointed. And if my son doesn’t kill me, this term paper I am working on will. I am sure I turned heads at the library today when I hauled six books on breastfeeding and my three and a half year old to the counter. (Anna, I cleared y’all out.)

I am questioning why I signed up for Socktoberfest when I haven’t managed to knit on a single sock in over a month. My wheel hasn’t seen action since the start of September. The only thing that is saving my ass when it comes to the Twisted Knitter Dye-Spin-Knit group is that I have two months to get my stuff ready to spin, leaving me able to do it over winter break. Hopefully by then I may have an idea of what I would like to make out of my handspun yarn.

Of course, there is also Christmas too. However I will not discuss that today because I don’t think what little bit of sanity I have left would make it through that post. Another time, perhaps.

LOL, if I could’ve seen the looks on their faces!!! I haven’t worked with KRL since March of this year when I started at Olympic down the street (for MUCH higher pay and professional librarian staus), but I still remember a lot of those conservative types that work in said libraries.

Just tell ’em to shut up and scan the books through!!! 😀
